Overnight Camps By Kings Narrative

Camps will be held on country at Black Tank Outstation (Apmwerre), which is located approximately 80km Northeast of Alice Springs.

Local family members will be employed casually to assist with delivery of programs from welcome to country smoking ceremonies, cooking, transport, and cultural guides.

It is important that cultural protocols are followed when taking groups on country and that the business can provide some economic growth for the community.

Camps will be for a maximum of 10 participants including carers if needed and will vary from 1 night to 2 nights with day trips/events included.

Camp activities/programs will be specifically catered to each group, deliberately to push and challenge them but most importantly to provide a safe space to share their stories and celebrate stories of resilience and accomplishments.
